I have a 2002 wrx with brand new engine with 2046 miles on it.

the orginal mileage is 70K, but dealership screwed up on my engine and they replaced with pretty much brand new engine. its coming up on first oil change.

it has
GT35 turbo kit
custom DP, test pipe, mid pipe
Blitz full stainless steel exhaust system
BLitz full FMIC kit with pipping.
Blitz BOV
Utec with map selector.
860cc injectors
walbro 255l high pressure pump
C.s short shifter
18s wheels with brand new tires
tein coils
JDM black headlight conversion
custom leather interior
-------------------------------------------------
also come with spare engine with
stock turbo 2046miles on it
stock intercooler with piping and BOV 2046miles
stock complete wiring harness
stock flywheels with clucths 2046 miles on it
alternator, AC compressor, PS line and pump,
factory exhaust system
engine itself has 70K on it. it is clean and I have a pic of cams and all of head pic when I took the valve cover to see what it looks like.. there is no wear and tear at all.

sucks those things cost so much. I've got about 10K of mods in my car, 11.5 in the 1/4, and I'm not even close to the price of that. Good luck though, hopefully I can get one some day.

Yes, this is true, buttttttt you are comparing a '91ish car to a car 10 years newer, obviously it'll cost more... :)

yea my DSM is a 91, and you are right. I love the wrx, especially the wagon! :)

Hm. Ideally, the first oil change on a fresh, new EJ20T is at 1,000 miles, when the break-in period is over. Use normal dino oil, then change w/dino oil every 3000 miles until you hit 10k, at which point you flush and then change to synthetic.

But it isn't make-or-break, I suppose, so long as you're still respecting the break-in period on the new engine.

Hm. Ideally, the first oil change on a fresh, new EJ20T is at 1,000 miles, when the break-in period is over. Use normal dino oil, then change w/dino oil every 3000 miles until you hit 10k, at which point you flush and then change to synthetic.

But it isn't make-or-break, I suppose, so long as you're still respecting the break-in period on the new engine.
