I asked you about the effectiveness of club last week.

And recently I came across this.

"HOOD LOCK AND STARTER CUT-OUT SYSTEM
For cars, trucks and vans
Heavy-duty lock and flexible 6-ft. armored cable secures hood and disables vehicle starter. Chrome-plated hardened steel pushbutton lock and 2 keys. With hardware and instructions. Some drilling required. "

Any body using this? How good is this system comparing to other types of cut offs?

hood lock might help, but a crowbar might disagree

as for starter cut out, you might be better off wiring kill switches

if someone wants it, they'll steal it

Hood lock works fine if the thief has no tools. Otherwise, it's out and open in 10 seconds.
And they are a pain in the ass to align properly when installing.

If someone wants to steal your car bad enough they are going to get it, the question is just how difficult are you going to make it for them to steal? If you are interested in the kit I am selling one just follow the link in my signature.

Close the door on a grenade and use duct tape to hold the door. Pull pin. No one will get away with your car. Muahahahaha.
