I just want some one to tell me that this is a normal feeling- Im nervous, excited, pissed off and scared. I started my swap the other day. I have a 93 hatch. I motor swap was actually really strait forward. I was pretty excited. But this wiring threw me for a loop. I printed the how-to on heavy throttle but it really didint help me that much. I need something more descriptive. Does any one know where I can find a really detailed discription along w/ names and locations for all the plugs on the SR motor. Pictures would be awesome. I have came to the nissan world within the last month fromm years of screwin w/ hondas. I must say I am over my head. My knowledge of hondas was endless. I had dealt w/ every thing there is to deal w/, so it made me feel as a know my shit, almost as good as a mechanic. Will this motor swap has put things into a perspective..... I AINT SHIT!

So could someone direct me in the way of a very discriptive how-to on the sr swap (wiring mostly)???? Thanks for your help guys.

I'm confused, by wiring do you mean you're doing the harness wiring, or u bought a pre-done harness and need help with installing it?

EIther way, if you don't have a JDM FSM for the SR parts, go here:

Unfortunately I don't have any current pictures, Heavy throttle's guide used to have pics, but not anymore.

Basically you're looking for plugs near the battery tray that do not plug up using the SR's engine harness and the KA's Chassis harness. There is 2 plugs in that area, one brownish color(6-8 wires) and one grey (8 wires? some might be missing). If you look at the colors that are mentioned to wire, you'll start seeing them, red, black and red, blue and red, black and pink etc...

Under the dash, if you take out your glove box, you should see a white plug which can be detached, its way way up there, and connected to your exsisting ecu. Also, use the colors to match it up.
