Hey guys, I'm putting together a turbo kit for my '92 240sx. This is my first set-up for my 240 and I thought maybe all of you people who have been through this before (more than once) might have some good advice for me. Maybe I should go a differenent fuel route or maybe I should invest my money on an extra item to lessen the chance of something going wrong.

Garrett T3/T043 57 Trim Turbine Houseing: 0.63 A/R
SSAC Turbo Manifold T3 flange
38mm Tial Wastegate
370cc Sr Injectors
DSM BOV
High pressure 255 Walbro Fuel Pump
Oil feed/return kit
S-AFC II
Z32 MAF
24x12x3 FMIC SSAC
Piping.... I'm not sure what i'm gonna do for this yet.

Is there anything you feel I missed?? any info or advice would be appreciated, Thanks

SSAC manifold = short life span

dsm bov is ok but they go bad quick *with my experiences with dsm's*

someone posted the other day on here i believe an easy piping kit for the s13 chassic done up by some ssac group *or wanna be's on ebay* 450ish and it looked like it does the job. downpipe megan's for SR i believe work with many manifold such as phat KAT's and some others

Hmm...i might go with the IAP turbo manifold instead..and thne get a megan racing SR downpipe. wow 450 is a lot just for piping...but thats just what it costs..i've seen.

ok, im tired of people talking shit about something they have never used.... (im assuming you dont have this, if you do im sorry)

ssa sells a fmic kit on ebay that will work with your s13... and im pretty sure it will run you $300 + $50 shipping

i bought an ebay knockoff sr downpipe for something like $63 shipped... a downpipe is a downpipe...

I actually might get an IAP manifold...because I just realized I can get a pretty good discount on one...

Downpipe, custom elbow, gauges

is the elbow easier/cheaper to have made custom or is the downpipe? seems the elbow would be harder with its wierd flange and shape.

No more difficult than IC pipes. Mine was ~2 feet long, and I just used a SS SR downpipe to lesson fabrication.

more ssauto bashers, get it ceramic coated n stop whining. they crack due to idiots running then under harsh conditiong. ie; exhaust hanging low. since its 1 piece =design with no flex sections. you scrape your exhasut and the metal starts to bend DUH. get a flex section made in your downpipe to stop vibrations and movment geting to the manifold

Theres nothing wrong with the new ssa manifolds. Like the post above says, just add a flex section. Also, you might want to check out ka-t.org for more kat info. They have tons of ka info and there are alot of guys that have been running the ssa manifolds without any problems.

Because I can get a deal on IAP merchandise, I have decided to go with the IAP manifold. great design also. It just cost me a lil more..lol If I wasn't getting this I would go with the SSAC..but i'm not. thanks
