So.. in case you havent heard yet.. I now know whats wrong with my poor lil car.. In fact it could be the worse thing i could think of to have to fix right now.. Cylinder #4 is fucked.. we havent pulled off the head yet but its definetly fucked up.. We did a leak down test on it and it built 0 pressure what-so-ever. Its either a pisten and/or ring most likely. To rebuild that and put aftermarket good stuff in it, it will prolly cost me 1500-2000 bucks including labor.. Im considering all my options right now, and I am seriously considering selling the engine if someone wants it, and maybe even the shell of the car, and keeping what aftermarket parts i have for the new engine i WANT to get.. Well, thats about it.. i just thought id let everyone know whats wrong with it, since everyones been asking so much about it.

I don't know how she got $2k to rebuild. She only needs Pistons, Bearings, bolts and gaskets.
Usually when you lift the head the Headgasket blows out the side and relieves the pressure. Most of the time when you heard someone blew the HG it's cause they lifted the head. ARP headstuds are the way to go.
What's this "New" engine? Looks like you have a nice set up. I would just rebuild with new pistons/rings and ARP headstuds. Stock everything else.
