Finally got one...

Well I haven't been here in a very long time because back when I found this site I could never find an affordable 240 that was in acceptable shape... Well I finally got one on Friday...

Shes a bone stock 91 KRMS13 with 144k on the clock and I got her for $1400. Just needs a little TLC.

i am agree with everyone, it looks nice, with ka24de too. i am curious what is the TLC it needs too.

TLC... New battery, ignition tune-up, exhaust, new every filter, new every fluid, get rid of cel (summer heat and cheap 87 octane the previous owner aways put in have pissed the engine and ecu off), new tint, needs a cd player, and prolly a new timing chain.

probably VLSD? More likely probably not. Just because the car has ABS does not automatically mean its going to have VLSD. ABS was offered on all years as a Option. VLSD was a Option on 91-93, but usually, was only seen Super Hicas cars. Otherwise to the original thread starter congrats on a killer deal. Yes people will kill for those kind of prices here in socal.

Dude... I can't even get into that thread to post... This site is so damn slow Ive never been able to even load 1/4 of the first page... it takes me long enough to even load this thread... Christ why is this such a big deal? Its not like I created a thread asking what swap should I do? Or what do I need to do to get 600hp? Or what Im gonna do when I get a 240? Or how do I drift?

Yeah Ive used it a couple of times. Its better than an open diff, but not that much better. Maybe it will work a little better with some new fluid and additive cause I have no idea the last time the previous owner changed it.

you should be some kind of exception to the rules of the forum because it's inconvenient for you to follow procedure? Right. I was TRYING to be nice and warn ya, but if that's your attitude about it, any pinking u get will be rightfully deserved....

There have been dozens of posts exactly like yours, almost all of which get locked/pix removed because like you, those ppl couldn't follow the simple rules that they swore they'd abide by when they signed up. Since when does any establishment's long standing rules change becuase they're inconvenient for someone? yay anarchy.

All I was saying, is that there are rules, and u should follow them, else I have no sympathy for you when it comes time to deal w/the consequences of being self-important/self-absorbed/unable to follow directions... but whatever.
