They are the same kit. The SR kit fit's if you have a SR style Turbo Manifold. If not hack up the Hot pipe. Looks like they jacked the price up. still cheap thou.

will pipe from the cold side of the ic line up with a KA24de throttle body? What about the s14 kit on an s14 KA?

you have to use the S13 Kit on the KA. S14SR is high port TB.

wtf? ssa ka24de t25 bottom mount hotpipe kit places the turbo in the same place the s13 sr does. so how does the hotpipe differ? i was always under the impression that the coldpipe was the one that was different.

im talking topmount ka-t with t3 which is accounted for 70% of ka-ts out there. for ssa bottom mount theres no difference, its same. you can use lots of parts from sr if u dont wanna go custom

ok, just clairify this for me...
i have a ssa t25 manifold and t25 turbo, so the s13 sr ic kit will fit with no/little modifcation?
if so thats great, sign me up
i guess im getting all my crap from ssa (its cheap price, and i know you get what you pay for) this ka-t project is getting cheaper by the minute lol

your hotpipe will work, and iirc the s13 ka and s13 sr throttlebodies are in the same place if not very close (unlike s14sr). so yeah both should just bolt-on. get ready to relocate battery or get a thin one.
p.s. alex get the fuck over to dallas. my car is down again for turbo upgrades so we should go driving your 240 around :hsdance:

well before ssa came out with t25 bottom mount and Aceinthehole did a t25 ka-t on his s14, everyone and their grandma did a ka-t with a t3 t3/t4. then, just like a bandwagon, or more like, a cheaper alternative, everyone start doing t25/t28 ka-t and etc. its just cheaper alternative since u can get t26 for cheap and the injectors and etc cheap too.
if im off work tommorow night i'll be there tommorow. i'm suposed to do a swap for some guy tommorow. but my schdule fucked up again.

cheapass is my middle name
yeah, i just want a little more power and this is the cheapest way to go in my opinion
i cant see spending 3k for just a motor, when i have a 98 ka in my 92 with less that 50k miles and 160 compression on all 4 cyl.

im planning on doing a complete in depth write up on how to do everything (this is my first time turboing something) so ill also tell you all the stuff i mess up on
i plan on including as many pics as i can, links to where i bought everything, and how to do everything, all the tools you need... etc etc, what am i missing? i really want this to be the only guide people will need to do this, b/c im tired of looking at 342348572349057 forums to find halfassed answers to simple questions
