Well, I still haven't decided what to do with her yet...:wtc:

The bad:
I blew the ring in the #2 cylinder, car runs fine, just cant hold boost, engine needs a rebuild, but driveable.

the car was involved in 2 accidents, one in may of 04 where someone t-boned the driver side rear quarter at low speeds, entire rear quarter was replaced, the second happend in april of this year when an suv pulled out into me doing about 45mph, front passenger side was fucked up, broke the headlight, fender, snapped a solid tension rod and the LCA (both were replaced), scratched up rim, NO damage to anything in the engine bay at all.

The good:

Body:
1997 Nissan 240SX w/146k on the chassis
kouki side skirts
Zenki valences
20% tint
S15 front end conversion includes:
oem s15 headlights
vertex replica front bumper/fenders
s15 carbon fiber hood
s15 front/rear badges

Engine:
S13 Blacktop installed sept 04
GT28RS (disco potato) (just installed ~3k)
650cc deatchwerks injectors (just installed ~3k)
Z32 MAF
Enthalpy tune
Greddy accesory pullies
Unorthodox UD pulley (less than 300 miles on it)
ACT Street/Strip
1 piece alum drive shaft
XSPower manifold
Greddy turbo extension (not even 5 miles on this)
Blitz downpipe
Megan test pipe (not even 5 miles on this)
RSR Ex-Mag Catback
New style SR20 timing chain tensioner (just installed)
greddy VSPL FMIC
HSK SSQV
relocated redtop optima to trunk
KOYO alum radiator

e-fan with adjustable electronic thermostat
walbro 255lph
NGK iridiums (heat range 7)

spare working SR starter

Footworks:
Tokico d-spec shocks/struts w/ eibach sportlines (about ~8k on them)
5 lug conversion
Z front brakes, brembo drilled/slotted front and rear rotors
5Zigen fn01rc's, bronze, 17x8 +25 fronts, 17x9 +35 rears w/fuzion ZRI rubber 235/40 fronts, 255/40 rear, plenty of tread left (only had them on the car for about 4 months)
whiteline rear sway bar
specialty Z subframe spacers
solid tension rods
s13 VSLD w/polyurethane diff bushings
nismo tranny mount
greddy FSB
cusco RSB

Stereo/Gauges:
Autometer phantom boost gauge w/single pod apillar
Greddy turbo timer
Greddy Boost controller
Custom carputer, 7" touch screen LCD molded into radio trim for a nice clean install, mini-itx pc w 60gb laptop hd/usb WIFI installed behind LCD, has about 30gb of music on it already
4 brand new infinity speakers (forgot what kind, but theyre really good =])
10" mtx, all run off 2 amps
JDM gauge cluster w/ 260kmh speedo *not installed

Whats wrong with it:

Enthalpy tune is not perfect, idles kinda rough when cold, but the car runs perfect, can be made much better with an SAFC and some dyno tuning
scratch along passenger door to gas cap, front part of each door should be repainted as they were chipped during s15 installed due to my laziness(all scratches/chips were filled with touch up paint so u can only see them when u examine the car)

So all this car needs is a new ring in the #2 piston, and then a dyno tune for it run and drive perfect?

indeed, but honestly the tune only needs help when cruising, seems like at certain throttle its not getting enough fuel, at WOT the car runs PERFECT, the idle problem/cruising problem could just be a bad O2, but im not sure yet

How much could I get new rings for, and where? (I know there are tons of websites dealing with the SR, but maybe you know of a good/cheaper one) I'm currently trying to sell my KA-T 240 and get a SR'd one, and fuck is yours BEAUTIFUL, but I don't want to get it, and find out it needs a $4000 engine rebuild.

or I could trade you my KA-T hatch hehe, but you're probably not lookin' for another turbo 240.

does it have a rebuild title or was it only a partial loss on the vehicles total value let me know and was it fixed by a reputable shop.

im sorry but after checking out a few other new cars I decided that nothing I could buy stock will compare to my car =], im gonna buy a daily driver and rebuild the motor myself, an admin can lock this thread if they see it
