Hey guys,

I've had this Blitz R-VIT Type II monitoring system for less than a year now. It plugs right into your nissan consult port (in the driver side fuse box) and reads real-time engine parameters that you can set yourself. It cost me almost $400, and it's in absolutely perfect condition, not a single scratch. Here's the description:

"The R-VIT (Racing Vehicle Information Technology) is a state of the art monitoring system that can read and display up to 20 different types of Real Timer information provided by the factory ECU. The R-VIT is a fully digital monitoring device with 5 different types of digital displaying capabilities (Needle Meter, Ellipse Meter, Bar Graph, Triple Monitor, and Six-fold Monitor). The R-VIT feature peak-hold recording, playback features, that can record and replay up to 99 seconds (you can stop the replay at any instant to compare a certain parameter versus another, eg, air flow sensor voltage versus rpm). Limits can be set in flash (red light, as in a shift light) and audible warnings to notify the driver of different engine variables, thus reducing the chances of damaging the motor. The R-VIT can communicate with the SBC i-D boost controller via INFRARED to operate the speed and tachometer, OPT 1/OPT 2 readings."

I'm selling it along with the aluminum mounting bracket I made that mounts it on the useless cruise-control buttons (I've never once used cruise control--hell, it's a manual, not an automatic). I also have some japanese instructions, which probably won't be useful to you. I really wish I didn't need to sell it because it's a VERY useful device, especially for trouble shooting, but I'm in desperate need of the money...I just got a $186 traffic ticket and am completely broke from the engine re-build. I'm going to school soon in North Carolina so I won't be driving the car all year, and I'd rather have the $ right now.

Here are just some of the things it can be programmed to monitor at all engine operating speeds:

-ignition timing (VERY useful in tuning)
-speed
-RPM
-02 sensor voltage (narrow-band, but still gives you an idea what your A/Fs are)
-water temperature
-injector pulse (in ms)-allows you to determine what duty cycle your injectors are running at, and if they're "maxing out" or not
-battery voltage
-air flow sensor voltage
-throttle voltage

Anyway, here are some pics:

Here are some screen shots from the main menu:

You can't tell from the pictures with flash, but the screen lights up to a nice soft blue at night and when the car first turns on...it's very easy to read the parameters while driving, even with extremely stiff suspension.

Here are the different views for viewing the parameters (sorry, the pics didn't come out that clear...):

My price: $275 shipped obo. It may go on ebay if I don't get any offers. Don't give me some crappy low-ball offer; I desperately need the cash. Again, it's in brand new condition.
