Those don't even go in the same place.
The first is urethane and holds the rack in place.
The second goes in the steering column.
yeah.. the alum one is go in between the sections. I seen my friend installed it before.
I want to know where to install the rubber ones. do you have any pictures? And I asked my Friend, He said he didn't see anything like that on his steering rack nor column

Your friend is booboo.
Look at the rack, which is resting on the crossmember. (read: Get under the car)
If you look at the two points where the rack "rests" on the member, you will see the bushings.
how come spl has 2 designs for the rubber bushing? and those are the engergy bushing on spl's website

One goes on the drivers side and one goes on the passenger side. If you get under the car you'll see it. Look at where the lines go in the rack and you'll see the bushing next to it. The passenger isn't far from it, just on the passenger side.
AGAIN. THEY ARE NOT RUBBER. THEY ARE POLYURETHANE. NISMO ARE RUBBER.

Some S13 dont have a need to add the aluminum bushing because there is a steel one there allready while other S13 sometimes have a rubber bushing, you just have to look.

Well only one of them is urethane. :)
They package the ES urethane bushing with the nismo (round) rubber one.
Why, if you don't know where they go or if you even need them, are you shopping for them?
lol. my motor is out. trying to do some upgrade

Meh. The s14 has the combo. The s13 set is both urethane. If your engine is out and you have the money just do both. They aren't that expensive.

The combination of the ES/Nismo set is only for the S14 rack, the round bushing in the ES set won't fit since the rack is slightly smaller is diameter. For the S13 and Z32 racks, both ES bushings are the correct size and work fine. You can also put an S13 rack into an S14 in order to use the ES set, like I did.
The aluminum piece is a spacer to replace the rubber unit in the column, not the rack, only found on S13s. S14 columns don't use it.
