The S15 backseat bolts right in.
You can generally get them pretty cheap too, because a lot of people only want the front 2 seats, so some vendors might have leftover backseats lying around for cheap. Ask any vendor that sells S15 seats.
You can get another S14 backseat, or you can leave it open. I like to leave my seat out, because the paint under my backseat is a shiny silver moss, just like the rest of the car, and it looks pimp. If it's not nice-looking under there, you might want to cover it with something.
I know that for WRX's, there are big carbon-fiber panels that go over a removed backseat, but I've never seen a product like this for an S-chassis car. I'd buy it, if I could get one.
EDIT: Oh, and $500 for an S14 in ANY condition is an amazing deal. The shell should be wirth 3 times that....

Ive seen an S13 coupe with a CF covered back seat, that he made himself. Looks pretty smooth. He is on this board, but i forgot his user name. I actually found it on his webpage, hope he doesnt mind.

Id say just take it off and put some kinda lining on the bottom part. other than that, you wont really need a backing unless you have a really loud exhaust thatll be drumming inside the cabin.

Cheap S14s are where it's at. I got my auto '97 shell for $950 :D It still "ran," but I brought it home on a flatbed. I then sold the seats out of it for $100 + S13 seats (some Corbeau's hopefully soon), making it an $850 shell. I'm sure I'll get a few more dollars selling random stuff out of it.
