Brand name vodka... brand names for something that's supposed to be tasteless. Look how many Swedes drink Absolut. And it's made there! Get a big 'ol jug of Popov vodka for $5, and mix with whatever. Unless drinking straight (or cooking), I never spend big on vodka. And Skyy is my straight/cooking bottle. Kash 'n Karry is my mixed-drink bottle.

Tonight, to me, feels like a rum night. Bacardi it is.

Actually, I will call Gin the worst for you as well... Has anyone here ever polished a whole 1/5th of Gin over the course of an afternoon/night for solo and actually remembered the events of that night to talk about them? I haven't, and the one time I tried that stunt was the worst hangover I have ever had and as a result was the last time I EVER drank gin.

I stopped drinking Tequila before I was old enough to drink legally... I was owned in a drinking game and wound up waking up at an old friends house next to some Leviathan-huge fat chick and unable to find my fucking truck I had at the time... It was parked at my house, at the other end of the neighborhood, I STILL don't know her fucking name almost 7 years later and don't care to.

No, I have no problem with 151, but I also have the sense to only drink it when it is in something else, like a Bahama Mama... Developed a taste for those when I went to the Bahamas in 2000.

I think it is dependent upon location... I think you can get "liquor" in convenience stores and places like that in some areas, where here in NC, you can ONLY get "liquor" in a state-owned Alcoholic Beverage Control store, where you can buy beer and wine and such in grocery stores, drug stores, gas stations (isn't that weird) and convenience stores. I know this to be a fact in SC as well, except the Liquor Store has 3 bigass red dots on it.

My favorite is Barbancourt 5 star (Haitian rum)....they sell a 1 star and a 3 star but they don't compare to the 5 star which is aged for 8 yrs. My local liquor store sells them for 19.99 for the 750. I think they have them priced wrong cuz I've seen them at the other stores for 29.99.

Beer and wine can get anywhere. Hard liquor has to be in a separate store. That's why Walgreens and Sam's have a separate door/room. also only "bars" can serve liquor. But, places that make over like 25% of there income from food you can't smoke in. Also you can't buy beer in over 32oz. So, no 40oz's....

The no 40's thing barely makes sense to me but tis Florida and its ridiculousness. In Pennsylvania you couldnt even get beer at anywhere beside a bar where you can only carry out 2 items at a time or an ABC store where you can get/carry whatever. Made drinking rather difficult/pricey

Has anybody tried Ciroc Vodka? I've heard good things. GG is WAY too trendy... every person in every club orders nothing but GG all night long. After a few shots it all tastes the same anyways.

I like plymouth the best (it's even less $$) but they are both outstanding.

As far as "grab on the way home" type drinks go, it's hard to beat a bottle of Crown and and a bottle of 7up.
