I'm selling a Boost Designs Garrett T3/T04E turbo. Exhaust side is .48 (perfect powerband for the KA) and the compressor side is .60
It's internally wastegated, but you can always weld the flap shut if you want to run external. Good for 400+ hp. Absolutely no shaft play.
Retail on this turbo is $475-$500. I'm selling it for $400 picked up, or $425 shipped.

do you know where to get that 3bolt flange to connect the downpipe?

The turbo is from Boost Designs, so I guess you can get it there, or you can make your own custom downpipe.

1. BD is teh suxors.. He rips ppl off and sells shitty products. Also this "merger" that he blamed long wait times on was BS. He started selling shit for stuff just around last may/june.
2. The downpipe from BD is for externally wastegated and its a 5 bolt dp
3. You can get flanges from atpturbo.com then get a muffler shop to mandrel bend a dp to your needs.

Their turbo's aren't bad. I have 2 friends with them and their set-up runs fine.

I would SOO buy this from you...but having already purchased one for $500 from BoostDesigns (which I still dont have!!, over 3 months ago!) I dont have any money :(
Oh, and thats not a 'BRAND NEW' turbo, they're remanufactured by MJM. BoostDesigns doesnt mention they're not new on their site, but they aren't

I kinda figured it was remanufactured since the turbo came from a different shop when it was shipped. I wasn't sure though. Thanks. I'll change my post.
Save money and buy this one! You can sell the other turbo! Haha

This is My Two Cents Regarding Boostdesigns Products:

Thats what happens to the turbo when you start up the car for the 1st time
The inducer wheel makes contact with the comoressor housing.
PJ tells me to send it back for warantee 3 months ago..
Yeah, I still havent gotten that turbo back nor herd frorm him.

Well, I have 2 people who can vouch that these turbos work. They both have the same exact turbo, just a smaller A/R ratio. They've been running their set-up for almost 4 months now at 8psi daily with no problems.
Thanks for ruining my thread with your $0.02. :ghey:

Well, for the record, I've also got two friends running this turbo on their 240's. One 8psi daily- 242whp......and the other is a built KA on 18psi - yet to be dynod, both running very strong. I wouldnt hesitate at all to purchase this turbo, simply dont have the money. And SHIFT_SR20DET, I remember you said in your thread, when your turbo arrived, it already had shaft play, so you shouldve known it was bad before you put it in. The turbo for sale has NO SHAFT play from what the owner says, should be good to go! ;)
