you know in photoshop how you can ctrl + click on a layer in the layer window and it selects the opaque pixels in that layer

so i picked up a copy of CS 2 and that doesn't work... so how do you do it in CS 2? it's killing me. i always use that feature.

im talking about my sig by the way. It's a good start. First off with the "drawn items" unless you purposely intended it to look like a kid with a crayola drew it then I recommend you use the pen tool and then right click and choose "make selection" then fill that selection.

You did a good job of masking out the car, but the antimatter filter doesn't really set the car off.

As was already suggested there are some great tutorial sites floating around the net just search for them and have fun learning. Photoshop doesn't have an impossible learning curve but it does take time to get the hang of it.

it sucks and it's too big. expect it to be deleted if you don't shrink it.

anyways, this thread is not about what other people did in photoshop. it's about answering my question.

but i finally figured it out.
