Had a guy back into me a couple weeks back and it screwed up the driver's door and front fender. I told the Nissan dealer that is doing the work that I wished I could get the whole thing painted. He said instead of replacing the parts, they could fix the door and fender and with the $$ saved they will paint my entire car. The only catch was that I had to go into the body shop last night and take off the bumpers/door handles/sunroof/head and taillights/spoiler/mud guards/wiper sprayers/mirrors/and all of the other trim pieces so that I would get a good paint job. That sucked, but when I took off the front bumper, there was a Japanese dollar bill sitting there on the frame!!! Not sure how the hell it got there, but it was funny as hell. Anyway, My car should look like new again. Can't wait to see it.

thats cool about the dollar... what year was it? did it have any writing on it?
Somebody at the factory probably put it there for kicks.. kinda like when programers put little signatures in code.. etc..
btw - What color you painting it?

I am getting it painted the same color - Silver Moss. I did try to change the color, but they said that would cost a lot more $$ in order for it to look good. I really wanted that BMW silver color. Oh well, I like this color too. This good fortune has made me want to go get my wheels powder coated a light titanium color. AND, I ordered Magnecore wires, an HKS exhaust, and new tires from tirerack.com. It's funny what starts up the "mod side" of your brain!
