simple, if your using 2 electric fan do you wire 2 - 30amp relays . 1 per fan ? if so do you wire them individually or piggy back the 2 relays together

what is the rated current flow of each fan?

while we're on the subject and its been in the back of my mind.. how do you wire up fans? i was thinking of getting a koyo radiator with dual flex a lite fans. at worst, i was goign to wire the fans to the ignition so its on when the car is on. what is the proper way to do the wiring with a temperature gauge?

I wired up my Koyo for constant on (I live in FL, where a 70* day is rare), using 1 30A relay per fan. Wired individually of eachother.

Proper way is with a thermostatically controlled switch, constant on can kill the fan motors. Here is basically how you would wire it from the relay out:

85----ignition switched & fused power (ie: ECM power wire, radio power wire, etc...)

86----thermostatic switch (on just higher than thermostat, off ~10-15* under)----ground

30----30A fuse----battery constant power

.........--fan--ground
87--<
.........--fan--ground

i can draw a pic if needed, but that should work for you if the fans are less than 15A each.

i use the greddy multi switching system. it turns my fans on and off at different temp. it also displays speed, rpm, and coolant temp; w/ peak hold. it's the shit.

If you are going to get fans you should probably get the Altima fans off of any ka24de equipped Altima; They flow more than FlexALites. 1 relay per fan and 1 inline fuse for each is the best way to do it. On Altima fans you almost should do 2 relays for each fan since they have different power settings. Also copper Koyos have been prooven to cool better since the fin count is less and they flow more air.
