Scroll up to the top for pics. I heard they go pretty damn cheap because who would expect a Skyline to be at one of these things. Oh well if you are in that area go for it, if it were within 500 miles of here it would be in my driveway tomorrow.
EDIT: Holy shit, I just read on there closer and they have TWO R32s going up for auction tomorrow, an 89 auto, and a 92 manual. Damn that's insane.

interesting.
export only.
does that mean you can only buy the car in order to export it?
Those cars and also that Mini Cooper are RHD and labeled for export only. Not street legal. Probably seized from a shipment coming to the US or someone driving it on the street not legalized.

fyi:
When will I be able to pickup my merchandise?
The terms of sale provide removal dates and guidelines for both export only and domestic goods. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of sale, repossession of merchandise and forfeiture of all monies paid. Export only merchandise may only be removed by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) bonded carrier. Contact your local CBP office for information and assistance.
What does EXPORT ONLY mean?
The designation of EXPORT ONLY indicates that the specified merchandise cannot be registered, used, or sold again in the U.S. as a result of it infringing upon some federal regulation (ex. quotas, trademarks or safety regulations). Anyone who purchases EXPORT ONLY property must remove it from the U.S. within a specified period of time. Please refer to the CBP website or export.gov for detailed export information.
hope that helps

and the skylines (or even the supra that was pulled off auction) or any rhd cannot be exported to either canada or mexico, so it's really limiting to who's actually able to buy these cars to be shipped off...

Other cities to find auctions, including vehicle auctions.
Also,
I wonder if they will allow the "EXPORT ONLY" vehicles to be used for PARTS SALE? You know. Export it, minus the engine. Or just strip it and call it done. Or does EXPORT ONLY mean MUST EXPORT. Will they consider a DESTROYED VEHCILE a copmleted sale?

Seriously!
Buy it at auction, pull the engine, brakes, headlights, taillights, 5-lug hubs, LSD, wheels, seats, and maybe body panels and call it a day. Or just keep it and export your 240 instead, and swap vins! heh. If only I didn't live in reality..

I've heard of people getting them shipped to Canada, getting a legal "donor" 240sx registered in the states, swap all the VIN plates and tag, and just driving the Skyline to the states and driving it around as a 240sx. At a certain point there's no way you can dispute it. What makes the original car an 'original car' anyway? He can just say he did a Skyline conversion.
