So my car has been making this like whirring noise lately. It makes it when I have the car in neutral and the clutch is engaged. I searched and im leaning towards throw out bearing...what do you think?

My car makes a whirring noise but it's the clutch fan.
How loud is it and is there any other noise? Is the transmission acting funny at all? Make sure the fluid level is where it's supposed to be. Put it on level ground (up on stands or on a lift) and remove the fill plug. The fluid should come up all the way to the bottom of the hole.

its your input shaft bearing in the transmission. If your throwout bearing is good and your pilot bearing is also good then thats what it is. If there is noise when your driving like a whirling noise from underneath only in gear its your output bearing in your transmission. When its not in drive chillin its your input.

throw out bearing spins only when you press on the clutch pedal and disengage the clutch.
