Who else moved out here if only for the fact that there are more events, and it's easier to get parts?
I moved out here last year from Wisconsin. 4 day road trip in an S13 with no ac and completly packed with all my stuff, me, my dad, and my brother.

i didn't move here for the "drift scene", but it is a hell of a lot easier to get parts in socal

i came here for college and to get out of a small town

i think CA residents are getting played in general.

seems to me that hardcore car enthusiasts would want to get out of CA...but what do I know..I haven't spent much time there.

Whoever moved to cali just to drift is either a factory backed driver or some retarded honda drifter. I'd figure it as more of a perk than a sole-based idea.

2 drift events a year, and mail ordering all my parts was getting really old really fast. But I did end up working in the industry. :hs:

Nope, my dad came out here with me to help me find an apartment. After that, both my dad and brother flew home. C'mon, I'm a 24 year old college grad, I think I can be responsible for choosing where to move. :rolleyes:

The way you stated it implied your dad and your brother moved out here with you. A 24 year old college grad should be able to find his own apartment.

I turned down a job offer recently for Minneapolis. Although it was kind, they have no idea how cream norcal is. me= thankful to live in paradise.

although if you are a fisher/hunter wisconsin/minnesota is paradise I hear. oh yea in wisconsin they have real old-skool style butchers I hear. A friend of mine would get sausage shipped to him from some local buther from his hometown that were the best I'd tasted.

my family didn't come with me when i moved here. i came her by myself and started from scratch, not knowing anybody, all alone. at least i didn't come just for the drift scene.

Eh, i coulda swornd Forsberg moved to cali cuz signal wanted to "test" him as a driver? Least that was the story in NJ before i got stationed here.

I know Ard Josh moved here to drift!!! Only catch is he hasnt had a gawdamn car *atleast running sponsored car* for over a year and a half. Anyways, I moved out of LA to go to college in Arizona. It's a small town named Yuma (short for YUmatherfucker). Anyways the scene out there was pretty sad. In those days I had my 300ZX TT. I would get Honduh's with TRD stickers revving me up. 1 year of school and I got the hell out of there. I dunno why anyone would ever want to live somewhere other than cali. I also used to spend my summers in El Paso(another sh1thole). So Cal is the place to be unless your sporting NASCAR and 8 stickers.
