I was just wondering if anyone could give me a link to a good website with good turbo kits for the 240, s13. I was also wondering if anyone here has swaped for an RB25DET, and what that runz in the 1/4 mile .
The rb25det is the 2.5lt skyline engine, and i saw a swap! just no info on it =(

Turbo kits for the S13 go to www.nsport.com , also check out XS engineering. Grumpy at McKinney motorsports in San Diego has done the RB25 into a S13 swap and he is on this forum. My buddy Gary has a RB25 in a S14.

RB25DET..... oooohh...... so tempting Look at the pretty skyline engine.... how much do those put out? is the swap pretty much the same as for the SR20?

hmmm the turbo kit on www.nsport.com is for KA24DE engines only. what about for our SOHC engines!? the only site I know of that makes turbo kits for the KA24E is www.realnissan.com (http://www.realnissan.com)
does anyone know any other place that offers turbo kits for reasonable prices?

what's this all about:
"-SERIOUS HP for your 240sx! SR20DET not enough for you? we now offer the 2JZGTE swap. 350HP stock! call or email for details, info and pricing."
source: Rollhard.com (http://www.rollhard.com)
i've never heard of the 2JZGTE... is that manufactured by Nissan?

The RB25DET 2.5lt is @ 255hp stock, and the SR20DET is 205hp stock ..S13.., + the SR20DET is a 2.0lt, I mean id feel kinda silly going from a 2.4 back down to a 2.0 .. The main reason i brought this up is the s13 SR20DET really isnt that powerfull at 205 hp.

THe 2JZGTE is the stock motor for the Mark 4 Supra. If that was easy to put in a 240 then everybody should do it, but it's not. They make a lot of power.

they don't just make a lot of power.. They can handle INSANE amounts of power on Stock internals. Like 800hp worth. Thats a monster. Of course swapping in a 2jz engine is going to be very expensive and completely custom because the intake, and exhaust inlet/outlets are on opposite sides of the engine than the KA/SR..

also I don't think XS engineering makes one for the S13, only s14 (that may have changed though)

If all somebody wanted from their 240 is 205hp then they would just use the KA24. I would have to assume that most people are going to modify the SR20, otherwise I would tell them not to waste their time with the swap. The SR20 sounds like it can make a little over 300 without too much work. I don't have one, and I haven't seen one, I am just talking about the general idea I get from people that have them installed. If you want more then 400 reliable hp in a 240, then I would suggest looking into other engines (probably just look at other cars to make your life simple).

why not just install a turbo kiton the KA motor? it'll get somethin around that much HP and make life simple
