Okay so I'm looking for a turbo for the KA-T project, and after a while, I decided to look for turbonetic turbo's, and I found this one in particular. I did some searching, but did not find my answer. Anyways, take a look at this turbo...

The Turbonetic's badge is actually on the turbo, so I wonder? Maybe it's just a 'bootleg' badge or something, but it looks similar to the real badge, and the seller claims that it is a Turbonectics unit. I'm not interested in the turbo, and wanted to know if you guys knew anything about it.

i smell crap, or see it... i dont believe that to be a turbonetics turbo... theyre usually ported... and look like this

Real Turbonetics turbos are made in-house in Simi Valley, CA. One of my best friends works there. Its top notch and sparkling clean. And very very high quality. I have a T'Netics t3/t04e on my car. Nothing like that.


In fact, one of Garage Works's customers brought in one of those bootleg T'Netics things. We called up Marka nd he came out and saw it, had a laugh, and was very apalled. Trust me, thsoe Chinese POS are not the real thing...

XS Power is some generic knock off BS company that gets thier chitty products from either China or Taiwan. I have seen pics where they have GLUED the compressor housings onto the turbo back plates.
