View Full Version : 350rwhp on stock internals...old news?
I thought this was significant enough to link...
William, from FA has an s13 black top SR20det with stock internals (top and bottom) pushing 417rwhp on race fuel @21psi.
He beat a viper! (http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=9;t=013338)
Then hit the dyno (http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=9;t=013385)

as soon as Drifting Ricer swaps to an SR and gives me his KA <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
Anyways, it still isn't the legend that Duy's car was/is, even though it looks like that it eventually WILL be.

Probably not a whole long time, but by some of the posts he made he said he was going to start building the motor.

I know of one thats ran for about three years before the motor blew at a HKS drag meet. Actually what happended was one of the screw/pins came loose on a run and got sucked in and .....well you can guess what happened, but the motor itself was still in good shape.

do any of you know the HP and Boost limit for a stock innards CA18? I heard 350 is a safe limit

350 should be fine on a CA. I've heard 400-450 from the Aussie boards. Wasn't Norris designs a CA pushing 400 horsies?
edit.. yup I was right. He's done bottom end work though.. oh well, here are it's stats:

Z22 crank in a KA block.... supposedly the Z22 also had an 89mm bore so you'd affectively get a KA22 with a forged and fully counterweighted crank without having to have one custom made.
