Yes I searched, best I could find was this:
http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=56242&highlight=nismo+shift+knob+weight
and a bunch of for sale topics. I am in the market for a new shift knob and I am looking for something pretty hefty but I don't want bare metal (Greddy), I'd prefer something leather. I wish the Momo Airleather knobs were heavy. But anyways, I want to get a NISMO GT knob, just wondering if anyone has a weight in grams or whatever on this thing. Thanks.

I dont know the exact weight of it, but fwiw, the nismo GT is not heavy by any means. Its pretty light imo. I dunno if you've seen it, but you might want to check out a jdm 300zx shift knob. Its similar in design to stock, but its wrapped in leather, but the leather is in two sections and the stitching is red. Its pretty sweet.
:EDIT: Here's a link i just found to one on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSAN-JSPEC-300Z-300ZX-RED-STITCH-SHIFT-KNOB-FREE-S-H_W0QQitemZ7990342877QQcategoryZ33703QQrdZ1QQcmdZV iewItem
Good price too!

the nismo gt is fairly light because its rubber. i personally think its a little too small, but hey wat r u gonna do?
i can probably get you a very rough weight in lbs if your interested.

I dont think heavy and titanium can go together in the same sentence and not make my head explode

oh contrare my friend
the only reason a titanium exhaust is light because its super thin.
you get a compact ball of dense titanium and you got yourself a shift knob!

Find a stock S14 leather shift knob. The rubber ones weighs a ton (I love it) and the leather wrapped one would feel nice. Makes a short shifter feels very stock like.

You need to get the NextGear MFBFS (mandatory fat bitch for support) that is 17.1 OZ thats equal to 484.7679 GRAMS = thats heavy dude and its bare metal but its the hottest joker I have ever seen. I have the prototype in my car and will take pics when I get out of work.

Yeah I thought about that right after I said that, but I still stand by that titanium and heavy dont go together in my head. Titanium is almost the same weight as aluminum, slightly heavier if I recall correctly. Its just so much damn stronger that you can use way way less of it in comparison to aluminum making it lighter. Whoopsiedaisy!
