tranny help please

Alright i need to get help now this isnt looking good. Im having a shifter tranny problem it seems no one can diagnose. compare it to someone putting glue in your shifter. it just doesnt want to move and its getting worse. it has no problem going into the gear itself but moving the shifter there is another story. could someone help me out!?

Call me captain obvious but have you changed your transmission fluid recently?

If so did you notice anything out of the ordinary meaning beyond the normal "minimal" shavings you find when you change the fluid?

check the actual shifter, see if the bushings and all are ok.

the fluid hasnt been changed in a while but i was told that the fluid couldnt cause what its doing.. i was thinking the bushing or possibly the shift linkage? but it gets progressively worse
