Most people call it a center console.

OK, that's what I was hoping (since it is the easiest comp. to get to). I'm figuring this won't mess with any other system? If I remember right, auto belts have to be on dedicated sytem due to safety reasons.

When I disconnect mine I get the evil seatbelt light constantly lit, did you jumper anything out to resolve the problem?

^^^^^^^Does that make some kind of noise as well?(the light) If not, then i'll just tape over it. simple as that.

I pulled out my automatic "race track" belts, most of the wiring around the roof and A pillar, and the computer under the center console. I have zero lights or ill-effects. S14 seatbelts all the way!

You can also take the bulb out if it bothers you.

^^^Yeah, prob. A good idea. Either way the four points are going in and the auto track shit is leaving.
