View Full Version : fuel cut @ 5500rpms on S14 SR20?

My SR20 is getting fuel cut or something whenever I get to 5500 give or take 100rpms. What would be causing this? I re-did the wiring going to the AFM and shielded it? Please help me
check timing, gap spark plugs...valla

Car may think your are in 5th? I don't remember where the fuel cut sits at in 5th.

5500 is the VVT point so it might be an issue related to that.

if it was a problem with VVT, it would be at 5500 RPM each time. He said give or take 100 RPM. Possibility of a boost leak mybe? How sure are you its a fuel cut? My intercooler was damaged ad for the longest time i thought i had a fuel cut.

if u havent changed fuel filter to z32 do that... i had that prob and it was my fuel filter was clogged.

check the filter or fuel lines for kinks
