Here is a review-
Diamond Audio subs are the best I have ever ran across for sound quality and loudness. The M5 series subs are identical to the M6 subs in ever respect except for the fact that Diamond Audio realized they could put twice the power to the sub. The physical attributes are a little different as well with the M5 having the "dimples". I wouldn't think about getting anything to replace my sub other then a Diamond Audio. If I ever blow my M5 12" sub I will probably replace it with a 12" Diamond Audio TDX.

Strengths:
-Very good power handling
-Excellent Sound quality at low and high volumes
-Build Quality Remarkable

Weaknesses:
Aluminum cone may be easy to dent (not positive because mine is dent free) if a grill is not used.

Similar Products Used:
JL audio W3v2/W6v2 is the closest I've found to date (had sub since Apirl 4th 2002) and the Diamond is still of better quality in all respects.

These subs cost me over 400 a piece for them, and you can see some others bought them for 500+.

These are competition subs that will slam in any ride and meet or exceed the sound quality of a 12w7. You must have a monster amp to power these subs though so keep that in mind, don't waste these on a "200 watt" Pioneer amp.

Paid 800 for them and I'm looking to get 305 OBO for them. These subs are damn near brand new condition, have about 2 months of use on them. The rears are chrome and still shine.

Please email me at [email protected] with questions this board sometimes doesn't email me back.

it would be nice if u could give the specs on them. RMS handling? what material is used around the cone? and what amp do u have set up to it. u said monster amp so im assuming a large amp since monster power doesnt make amps for cars haha. how large are we lookin at? 500w RMS? 1000w RMS?

also this is just the sub itself? or does it come with an enclosure?
