Okay, so let's start off. I've been trying to put together a turbo kit for a while now, but it's pretty slow because I'm going for 'good stuff'. Anyways, I found a kit on ebay for a very decent price. The problem is that the seller doesn't have much feedback, and it's pretty risky. For those that may think I'm being childish about this, and asking you guys, I'm sorry. Here is the guy's ebay selling list..

Look at those unbelievably cheap prices. I was really considering buying these, but after thinking, this guy has like 1 feedback from someone who also has 1 feedback, and makes me think that it's a con, and it could have been his friend that left the feedback. This guy is located in New York someone, and said that he 'is a mechanic at a shop, and he bought some kits off of a customer.' (as stated when he called me.) Anyways.. what do you guys think? If anyone is in New York, and could possibly talk to this guy, or see what he's about, that'd be great. I just don't really wanna risk this much money at the moment.. but yeah.

Very true, and I agree, but there have been times when people were selling legit kits though.

I have tracked several sellers selling cheap brand name turbos. Their accounts never last 6months.

Some dude bought the 240sx turbo kit. I was looking at the auction, i would buy it if the guy/girl agreed to do cash on delivery. I won't risk 1,600 thou and that's just me.
You can make a cheap turbo kit for around 1500 for a KA24de. Although the greddy kit might be better, would you risk loosing 1600 or maybe you'll get lucky to get a greddy kit for cheap. Who knows.....
To be safe, i would wait for more feedback or do cash on delivery.

Uh.. I don't get why you guys are saying 'cheap parts' because it was it was true, it's just GReddy kits. The thing is him possibly being a scammer. Not selling cheap shit like "XS Power" turbo kits.

you can piece your own parts, and still have like, 300 to spare.
Piece it yourself!

For your information mister 'sochbat', I have been putting a turbo kit together. Maybe if you noticed, I even started to sell my parts when I was thinking about purchasing that kit. Why may you ask? It's just damn'd cheap, and we all know it.

Well, he's got other people bidding. So why not ask them if he's legit?

I was planning on it, but the auction is not yet over, so there truly is no way to finding out from them yet.

scam, I have seen this a lot, a guy will come by with like 20 auctions of similar high dollar variety with little to no feedback. I emailed a guy about a avenger racing chassis, and asked if I could pick it up locally, (thye hate to hear this) and he said sure I can look at it but first I will put a deposit into a safe account and if I decide I dont want it, I get my money back simple as that he said, I responded with a nasty email that he probably didnt like too well.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking it is, so I was asking Zilvian's what they thought, and if anyone in New York could check it out.

They claim to be 'GReddy' kits. It's a pretty decent kit.
