what do you think, witch piggy back, stand alone or another ecu fits ca18det best (or should i say good, probally the best would be the expensive one)

i got a hks f-con with gcc and it work not bad (maybe i`m not too sure if it makes realy any power?) but somehow i miss to adjust the ignition timming

i also read about a sr20 who switched from safc to power fc and gain some more horses

i dont realy know what to do, should i go with the f-con or not?? :wtc:

does anyone worked with a aftermarked ecu on a ca18det

i know most of you drive sr and ka but maybe one of hundret (or should i say one of thousand) work on ca`s and know something :bowrofl:

In the tech chat section there is a post speifically for the CA18(sticked right at the top), lots of parts and information there as well as several links to part suppliers, you'll probably find it in there. Good luck.

Go with a reprogrammed chip.. There some people selling chip for the ca18. You can use the power FC for the ca18det if you find one ..or go stand alone.. Dont lose your time with piggyback.

SDS is a good stand-alone , some people use it in the Nico board.

thank`s and yes i`ve found an power fc for ca18det on ebay, its a little bit expensive but i may buy it (as soon i got enough money)
