View Full Version : Second AutoX yesterday. Pretty happy with the results...

This was my second event yesterday but my first even I only got 2 runs in with my 240. I got all 6 in yesterday and improved on almost every run. My last run was the best but I hit the VERY FIRST cone coming out of the gates :bash:

But what I'm really happy with is that there was another 240 there with SR, tiens, rims, etc, that I was within a second of. Oh, and all I have done is J30 LSD and front strut tower bar. EVERYTHING else is BONE STOCK. I'm even running on Yokahoma Avid H4 all season tires. There was alos a GSX that ran 12.7's that I was talking to the owner all day, and I ended up faster then him too. So yea, I finshed 57th out of 81 in ondex, but for a near stock 240 I feel the car and I did failry well.

Oh and sorry if I'm sounding like I'm pating my slef on the back, but I'm just really happy with the resluts.

Congrats on the good finish! If you get a chance, try to attend a couple of schools as soon as you can. You'll be amazed how quickly you can move further up with some good instruction. If there are no schools, get the local old timers to ride with you.

Yea, there are usually a couple schools in the begining of the year. I was goinf to attend one this year, but was too buisy. I'll more then likely do one next year.
