Alright, so I was installing my Kaaz LSD this weekend, and in doing so I discovered that one of the CV joints on the axle was blown. I'm sure someone on this board has replaced axles before, so I'm wondering how difficult this is. Just from looking at it, I imagine it's just unbolt at the differential, then unbolt at the hub and smack the axle out with a hammer. Where do I find a socket large enough for the nut on the hub, I think it's 36mm? Thanks for the help. Oh yeah, if anyone in the socal area has any right side six-bolt axles, hook me up!
cheers,
C

ok well.. its easy the 6 bolts to the stub .... the axle nut.... dont smack on the threaded side of the axles... just drop it from the middle and should slide our easily...

if you're still looking for a socket that huge, just go to autozone, you could rent/borrow their 36 mm socket, just use a breaker bar with it
