i have the rb20det in my 240. Can someone please explain to me how to get the car to read MPH correctly. I now understand that the Speed sensor only gives a signal for the cluster/ecu to translate to MPH or KPH. So how is my car supposed to read MPH if i have the r32 ECU? thanks

the signal goes from your speed sensor to the gauge cluster and out to the ecu. I will check with my boy about the speed sensor, seeing as I do not remember, if we used a 240 speed sensor in my RB25 transmission. I would guess we did off the top of head though. Its the logical thing to do.

The speed sensor wiring goes directly to the cluster, then from the cluster to the ecu. What this means is if you put the KA speed sensor in the RB20's tranny it will read just like it used to. If you used the Ka's lower harness, which you should have, everything will be gravy. Good Luck!
