first off, do you know how to custom fab anything yourself? do you have a lot of money?

if you answered no to both of those, dont try it...

why? its way much cooler to have a stock car that works than a cool motor swap that cost you an assload of time and money that doesnt really work all that great

^^ agreed, unless this is a shop car or something to promote something or even a full track car, i would not attempt it. there is so much better choices.

if u want to be unique, i would choose something easier to work on than a v6 will make it hard to work on.

yes....i have a full workshop to work with....this is going to be strictly track...and it will be a single turbo vg30, plus i already have a '95 motor and tranny to work with, and an extra pair of 300zx brakes...so back to my question; has it been done?

You can also do a 2jz swap if you want.

I'd rather learn something and place function over fashion... The effort is not worth the gain.

Sounds good...but CA18DET, SR20DET even the RB20DET would be much easier.... good luck...
