went outside this morning and my car was gone. alarm never went off or anything. taken in the middle of the night or morning. its a midnight blue s13 coupe with black eye rims, lowered and had an exhaust. if any of you guys come across it please let me know

thanks everyone and thanks mrmemephistopheles for making it a sticky. i was waiting around allday hoping the cops would call and tell me they found it but no luck. im pretty sure they wanted my motor, damn why cant people just get a real job or something and buy stuff themselves instead of stealing from people who work hard for their stuff. it just aint right. if i get my car back with most of the stuff in it the wheel boot is going on when im not driving it. i didnt know you could buy those stuff until today. ill keep you guys updated if i found out anything.

ouch good luck man. future reference... better alarm (2 way paging system), quick release and bring the steering wheel in, and lock the clutch pedal with those lock things, and iuno lo-jack or gps tracking to go all out? hahaha but yea good luck man. Let hope they just took it for a joy ride and everything is in decent condition still

Damn that's awful, I will keep my eyes out for your S13. When they found my car several months ago it ended up being dropped on the frame in North Park, so if you have the time and inclination you might want to drive around that area and check. I had an alarm too and it never went off...for long. What they did was pop the hood and disconnect the speaker as soon as they got in. It was recommended to get one of those cable hood locks that jeeps use to prevent the thiefs from gaining access to the engine bay easily.

I hope you get your car back with minimal damage.

i had a viper 791 vx which i thought was a good alarm and my neighborhood is quiet. no one heard anything, my alarm and pager never went off. im thinking its either in mira mesa or in eastside. i am going to have to go for a alittle drive later today. if they woulda waited they woulda got the car with a s15 front end on it as well as 17" rims. what sucks the most is that my monopoly limited edition was in the trunk, so i cant even enjoy kicking peoples butt in that game.

http://www.zx-10r.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10889&page=1&pp=10 the link is to how my car looks like stock. the color and the military car sticker on the front should set it aside from most s13's. the car was lowered since then and the hub caps taken off. there is a blue strut bar, engine damper, but that is the current exhaust system i am using though. there will be a reward for anyone with information getting my car back at least with the motor intact or any information. thanks again guys

i just got my 03 KAWI ZX6RR jacked too yesterday (7/29/05) in my apartments by my own neighbor, which are some fools from " 2nd to none bikerz" which they never will admit it....
and i know that by then prolly my bike has already been stripped the hell out.

A car being stolen... Is not preventable...the only way... is by trying.. to get stuff... like anti theft crap...e.g. 2 way alarm...Pulloff Steering Wheels... Clutch Locks...Hood Pins(kinda Ricey) but it helps...AND LOTS AND LOTS OF IGNITION KILL SWITCHES... but all in all... theres no real way of preventing it...These Thieves... if they want your car... Trust me... they will get it...By any way possible...

So the best way to Prevent your car getting stolen...Put it in the Old Garage... no jk... but like i said... There is no real way if they want it... they will get it... And the only that you can prevent it... Is waking up in time... to call Cops...then they will get those bad boys...

im putting a quick release stearing wheel hub on my s13, if people try to steal it the will have a hard time... all you do is release your wheel and put it in your house etc. when your not driving. its a must!!!!!

update detective called me and they found my car a few weeks ago. he said its all stripped down they took every thing even the shitty seats. im gonna go see him tomorrow and maybe pick it up. i hope those bastards that have my motor will share the same misfortune but with more outcome. chris, i havent really come to this site since my car was jacked, it just brings up memories. i stop by the shop now and then but you're never there or i missed you by half an hour. but i will hit you up on aim when i sign on. well thanks everyone who posted here and i dont know where i go from here..maybe rb now? oh yeah one more thing if someone is selling an sr for dirt cheap in socal let me know.
