I got a couple of 95% tread 205/65/r15's for my s13 and somone told me that 65s are too high..
i got the tires for $23
would that be a bad decision for daily use?

I really don't think they will.... stock size is a 195/60/15..... that little of a sidewall difference won't make a difference at all.

no. your just increasing the width...if it was like 16 or 17's or anything but 15..will alter the speedo..but it's not even a lot...probably bearly tell. or not even.

it's fine....juss use them...factory is 195..but optional 205...youll be fine..the side wall has no effect but makes your rims more low profile

i have 205/65/15 on the rear on s13 stockies.
never had an issue.
don't think i'd ever put them up front though.
too much sidewall, imo.

They will alter your speedo reading a little bit, but I wouldn't worry about it. Anything TALLER than stock size will change your speedo reading... Stock is 195/60/15 and optional stock size is 205/60/15. The 205/65/15 will be taller than the 205/6015, but the same width.
Hope that helps,
Bryan

there's actually a better calculator with much more detail, i've lost the link, :( i thought it belonged to some vw board, basically more info, with inboard/outboard differences and other details..

Here are a few good wheel/tire/offset calculators while we're on the subject...

what? That couldnt be more wrong. The sidewall affects the height of the entire wheel/tire combo, which would throw off his speedo, although by a negligible amount.
