idiots. it wont increase spring rate. only way they could achieve that is cut and compress which is impossible without proper equipment and most likely wont be even .

how the hell did they figure cutting spring 1 inch will increase spring rate???? :tweak: :ugh: just makes NO sence. eibach springs are affordable why not do it properly.... :ugh:

seems like Honduh people got tired of being slow and bought new mustangs. :drama:

The sad thing is that he is a mod and long time member. So I know he has seen his fair share of stories on cut-springs. I mean common, mustangs are the forum's flavor.

^ to an extend. read the freakin thread. mustangs dont have performing springs. its still a passenger car with soft springs and weak spring rates. what do you achive by cutting those? exactly, handling will be downgraded.

Please, people, go easy on the Mustang guys, they had to do something when the penis enlargement pills they ordered online didn't work and they didn't have enough money left over to get a new Vette

Progressive rate springs do increase initial rate when cut as long as you cut the right end of the spring.

The coils closest together are the lower rate coils.. Progressive springs are totally variable, so the more you take off, the stiffer the initial rate.
