I have an 89 240sx and swapped in a 1990 KA24E because the stock motor blew. I used the 1989 wiring harness and ECU and I noticed that a few of the sensors were missing on the 1990 KA24E for instance some EGR sensor and some sensor near the airbox.

The car does run, but takes a while to start up. Also the motor shakes violently at idle.

Anyone have experience with a 1990 KA24E into an 89? Do I need the '90 wiring harness/ecu? Any difference in ECUs b/w 89 and 90?

Any help is appreciated, TIA

My friend said his 1990 KA24E ecu is I4. I just took a look at mine and it says "10".
