Well I have Work Emotion CR Kais wheels, I am about to lower the car a bit more and put new brake pads on. My Torque wrench is Ft lbs and since I bought the wheels here in Japan the reccomended Torque is 12-15 KG...this doesnt help me out with my Torque wrench, you cant just convert KG to LBS cause that is 26.4 - 33 and that is impossible so it is some other reference the KG is to..anyone know what the Ft Lbs conversion is or what the Torque setting should be for work emotion wheels? I am guessing 90-100 Lbs, but dont wanna jack up my new wheels. Thanks

it's supposed to be kg something, might be kg/mm.
tourqe is measured weight/distance, so ft lbs is actually pounds/feet.
so the kg should be kilogram/something.
maybe millimeter, it's something meter for sure.

also are you using lightweight lugnuts? they don't like too much torque,
or they'll strip.

i guess it's kilogram/meter

90-100 is pretty good, just make sure its even on all lug-nuts, factory specs will work even with aftermarket wheels, BTW when I saw this thread I thought you had a

for wheels.

15 kg-m = 108 ft-lbs
12 kg-m = 87 ft-lbs

From the FSM. ;)

Thanks Guys for the help. Later a buddy gave me the conversion and the numbers came to 86.7962 to 108.4952 pound feet..I will play it safe and use
90 ft lbs. Yeah I have the Work Aluminum Lug nuts as well thanks for the heads up on those stripping!

for alot of things I use german torque settings "gudentight" but this is the first set of new wheels I have ever bought, first set of cast aluminum wheels also and I want them to last and not jack them up so I will follow the torque settings just to be sure :boink:
