Just wondering if its common for S14s to have a fuel slosh problem. I haven't read anywhere saying they have, but it seems mine has a problem with it. So far the only time I have really had a problem with it is the big looping on/off ramps to highways. It does fine until almost the top of it, then I will run out of gas. Atfirst it was only happening when my gauge would be at about 1/4 of a tank, but that was back when some idiot had 14" mazda wheels on it, now it has its stock 16" back on it and I had the fuel slosh problem happen at 1/2 a tank.
Any suggestions?

What is it doing? Does it do a weird surging thing?

IIRC, the only way to effectively eliminate sloshing gas is to get a fuel cell. i think its illegal, but it works.

not really a surging, just feels like its fuel starvation. After a couple seconds its right back to normal though.
My main question really is just if this is normal, or just my car demanding more attention.

that doesnt sound right at all, best thing to do is pop out your fuel pump and look for anything that might be out of whack...
at least it will eliminate one prossible solution...
