Might want to watch out, some of those filters don't do to well, allowing lots of dirt to pass through

The little picture of the white disc is the tester thingy they put into the intake tube to see the amount of dirt each filter allowed to pass.

Wow, the Apex'i Super Intake filter did pretty damn well and it filtered the best. However, the most disappointing result was the Blitz Sus filter, that was rated as "poor", but the gains were pretty good. Judging by the little pictures and stuff, that white box with the blobs in 'em illustrate how much crap the filter doesn't collect, I assume. Hmm..for us folks in the US, the only air filter that we don't have available here is the SARD, well, we don't care anyway since they rated that filter as "fair" and we've got better ones availabe here.

Wow, thats kinda scary considering I have the HKS on my Z32 and the engine just went out. Related?? Probably not but once it's running I will probably try something different.

i think they used to come with KN (labeled or at least i had seen them in pics that way) then they went with there own its more of a cylinder then a cone like the KN but who knows it may still be made by the people that make the KN because the actual fitter look like KN

but anyways id say that the results would be about the same

I dunno, I dont' think that anyone of us could verify any of this. can't believe all you read on the internet. Might be sponsered by one of those companies!

Well whatever, I am still wondering what intake I am going to get.

The blitz is a Stainless Stell mesh. I've heard it was built to improve airflow, not catch more particles. It was made for race situations.

The Injen intakes filter has some sort of special velocity stack in it. They say they produce them, but honestly you never REALLY know who produces them. They might have a deal with KN to produce them to their specs or something.
