I'm gonna get a set, I have heard nothing but good things about the touge factory guys, and They recommend them and are importing them. I think the coils look worth a shot, we'll see. I'm gonna make sure to take plenty of pics when I get them regarding build quality, fitment, etc. I don't plan on being dissapointed.

If i'm translating this right the DDrugs are good but KTS is better.
DDrug goes lower, but has stupid adjustablity.
KTS easier to adjust by hand(?) plus only 15 way.
KTS is 20000 yen cheaper.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. well, I'm gonna get the DDrugs and see whats up.
you cant say which one is better without a shock dyno and proof of reliability. Anything else is BS.

They will be offering rebuild kits soon too for the D-Drugs so thats another positive.

Do you have any other information about these coils, or are you just basing your statement on ride height?

How low is low enough? I think this is perfect... Is that low enough?

Seriously...that's why i was asking about any other info. It seems stupid to pick something cause of a lower drop if you dont know how the shocks are built.

if i'm not mistaken, kookz modified the preload on the kts to get them that low.

I just am reading what I read in dorifto tight magazines...
They used a driving test as well as a shock dyno.

No he didn't. He took out the 2 locking collars (1 for lower bracker, 1 for lower spring perch) and bottomed the lower bracket out against the spring perch. And I must say, it looks effing awesome!

i don't think you're any lower than 'Jane' but you're definitely just as low. You daily drive your shit? Looks good. KTS can go that low if you take out the collars, just personal preference I guess, thats all. These D Drug coils are low as shit, that's for sure.

hows the nuts taste dude?
anyways, if youre basing the decision between KTS and DDrug solely on ride height, why would you get the KTS and remove the collars when you can just get the DDrug and be super slammed with the coils in stock form? are the KTS much better quality than the DDrug, making it worth the hassle?

those are awsome coilovers. for a track car. awsome and quality im sure is great, no less than KTS
i dont see a point in getting ddrug if u daily drive your car. super slammed is great for track, on the shitty paved streets say "bye buy" to new oilpans

well considering the ddrugs don't have bottom bracket adjustability, if you need to go ANY lower on them you have to preload.

yeah, well considering the 10/8 rates, preload can't be all that bad, i mean, how much will the shock actually move up and down? i doubt you'll be bottoming out. not that much travel is needed.

im about to order and the only con i can think of is if i want to go higher; not lower...being superoo slammed is not one of my priorities...other than that...these look very promising...i guess we'll be the first batch of guinea pigs...
also, i noticed that a lot of competent/expensive coilovers/brands dont offer the lower perch for adjustability...mainly circuit set ups...is there a reason for this? most drift oriented coilovers have it, but circuit ones tend to lower via preloading...can someone shine a little light on this subject? just curious, and the only reason i can come up with is that obviously when your drifting, you need more suspension travel...and when your on a circuit/touge, its tolerable to loose a little travel by lowering via preload...
well, these are short stroke so it doesnt really matter anyways...just worried about it being too low on the highest setting... :ughd:
