ok well basically my exedy hyper single tore my mounts in half, and I need new ones.

Phase2motortrend recommended I go with the Peak Performance PRO Polyeurethane Transmission Mount, and Cusco Polyeurethane Engine Mounts due to such harsh engagement of the clutch and me tearing mounts in half.

What are your guys' thoughts on what I should get?

My tranny mount was torn with my stock clutch. *shrug*

If they were stock mounts they were probably old anyways. The Nismo are a harder rubber. The Cusco are harder still. Then you have solid type mounts. There is a GB here for some urethane engine mounts too.

yeah......... hmm my engine mounts are in good condition though, I think I'll just pick up the pp transmission mount and see how it goes :)

^^agree with kandyflip. If your engine mounts aren't shredded, you could just fill them with urethane or get in on the urethane group buy. I went with the JGYcustoms tranny mount @ http://www.jgycustoms.com/240sx/underhood.htm. Dunno why the peak performance is so expensive, but you can order local to support california shops.

Here is a link to one of my threads before I got the Nismo engine and tranny mount.

Kouki says something about running only a tranny mount. His results may not be typical though. ;)

I live in Canada :S so it's not really local lol :D

How does the jgycustom tranny mount compare to the peak performance one?

Also I think I might pick up a engine torque damper from JGY anyone tried them yet?

I bet they're all the same. Peak Performance does give the option for a softer urethane instead. Just go with whichever suits your needs. Both are good companies in my opinion. Oh yeah, you can't go wrong with a torque damper. It's a simple bushing design.
