I was driving my car to pick up a couple of pistons and my right front calper starts leaking like a mother after 4 weeks after doing the z32 5 lug conversion. I was an cause i didnt tighten the 4 bolts holding the 2 pieces together and i guess the seal went and the fluid got on my 5 zigens and messed up the bronze coating, but thats besides the point. Now that i tightened the 4 bolts, the fluid still leaks a bit from the seam. I am picking up the seal kit from nissan tomorrow and would like to know how i do the rebuild?? I tried searching but couldnt find anything. If you guys know of a link with pics it would be great. Would honda bond or silicone work??? Probobly not??? Thanx

You took the caliper apart??? It says in the manual NOT to seperate the caliper UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
The seal kit comes with nothing to seal the two halves of the caliper. It only comes with the seals for the individual pistons and new snap rings.

You can rebuild the caliper by taking it apart. BUT YOU MUST KEEP THE CALIPER CROSSOVER SEALS(don't throw anything away as far as seals are concerned). The nissan caliper rebuild kit only comes with seals and boots for the pistons.
If you did take the caliper apart, and forgot those seals, take them to autozone for a core charge and get rebuilt units.
