I’m selling my 1995 240SX with 83K miles. Car recently passed smog.
I have been building this car for autocross use and have spent most all my efforts on improving the handling of the vehicle. This is the perfect S14 for anyone who wants to do the SR20DET swap.
Here is a list of modifications to the vehicle:
Brakes:
- Front Z32 Aluminum 4-Pot calipers with new shims and pins.
- Stainless steel brake lines
- Powerslot Rotors
- Porterfield AP460 R4S Pads. Only 400 miles on new Pads and resurfaced rotors.
Stock Rear calipers and rotors with new Porterfield AP230 R4S Pads
Currently using ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid
Suspension:
Using stock front strut housings, removed stock spring perch and welded on new coilover sleeve perch, cleaned and painted with blue engine enamel.
-Coilovers consisting of Koni Sport shocks, stock upper mount, Coilover sleeves are black hard anodized with front Hypercoil 400ft/lb 8in springs.
-Rear: Koni Sports and Ground control coilover sleeves with Hypercoil springs in rear 350 ft/lb 8 in and stock upper mount.
-Also installed Ground Control bumpstops in front, rear using stock bumpstops
-Installed Camber eccentric bolts in front struts.
-Removed all front suspension components, inspected, cleaned and installed Energy Suspension Polyurethane bushings into Front lower control arms, Tension Rods, Sway bar bushings.
-Installed new Moog front ball joints in front lower control arms
-Moog Tie Rod outer ends.
-New Energy suspension polyurethane steering rack bushings
-Greg Dupree rear subframe metal collars
-Stock Front Sway Bar
-Whiteline 22mm Rear Swaybar
Alignment Settings:
Front -2.25 degrees of negative camber with zero Toe
Rear –1.5 degrees of negative camber with zero Toe
Wheels:
-5-Lug Conversion 5x114.5 wheel spacing.
-Nissan Skyline GTS 16”x6.5” 40 offset wheels with new Falken Azenis Sport RT-215 205/55 R16
-15mm wheel spacer with hubcentric lip for 66.2mm center bore to clear coilovers
-Peak Performance 60mm wheel studs M12x1.25, Knurl 14.43, Shoulder 14.5mm
Engine:
KA24DE Recent Tune up
-New spark plugs NGK BKR5E-11
-New NGK spark plug wires
-New distributor cap and rotor (Nissan parts)
-New Air intake temp sensor
-New PCV Valve
-New Fuel Filter
-New Nissan oil filter
-Reshim valvetrain
-Set Timing at 20 degree BTC
Drivetrain:
-Clutch job, new pressure plate, disc, throw out bearing and throw out bearing collar
-New Clutch Slave cylinder
-Nissan VLSD from SE model
Exterior:
-1997 headlights, with modified 95 fenders, hood and bumper.
-Modified front bumper support
-Molded VIS Invader sideskirts and rear valence
-Front fiberglass Invader bumper, fiberglass bumper has cracks but is repairable.
-Rear bumper has chipped paint and will need bodywork and paint.
-Trunk lid has hole remnants from old spoiler.
Interior:
-All stock cloth seats. Interior is not ripped and overall very good condition.
-Dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or blemishes.
-Center console radio bezel needs to be replaced.
-Power windows, power locks, and power side mirrors work great
-No Radio
Exhaust:
-Magnaflow High-Flow Catalytic Converter
-Magnaflow Dynomax muffler with with 2.25” piping from the Cat back.
Also Included is
-Extra rear bumper
-USDM Kouki front bumper
-KYB GR2 Shocks with Tein S.Tech springs.
-Factory Service Manual
-Stock Exhaust System
-Pop Charger Intake filter
The Bad:
Car has a salvage title.
Needs some fiberglass work on the sideskirt and front bumper. Needs paint work on the back corner of the vehicle.
