does anyone know if i can use the KA24DE alternator on my sr20det by swapping out the pullies ONLY?? or does it require more mods then that??

change the housings and pulley.... then youll be all set!

You Are Going To Lose 10 Amps Of Charge Power When Going To A Ka Alternator.... Ka = 80amp, Sr = 90amps.

Only the S14 SRs are 90 amps. S13 SRs are 80 amps. So are all US model S13s, base model Zenki S14s, and all Kouki S14s.
Only Zenki S14 SE models came with the 90amp unit here in the US.

my redtop has a 90amp alternator.... designated with a 90a on the casing.

if thats the case then I'm lucky I guess.... its even got a brand new pulley.
