stupid motor mount bolt

how the hell do you get the lower motor mount bolt? The one thats under the car. I've tried everything. Impact gun, air ratchet, breaker bar... my next step is just cutting them off. How did you guys get them off?

just use a regular 14 wrench and some good ol amercian arm power.. easy smeashy!!!

I used a breaker bar for like 30 min on the driverside nut. The passenger side came out SOOOOOO easy.

i fought it for a couple hours with a dremmel

i had a hard time with it too..

i finally got it off with a propane torch, alot of pb blaster (flammable!), a craftsman bolt out socket (those teeth really dig in), 6 side socket, extension, large breaker bar, and my legs instead of my arms.

take off the tie rod and take off the nut that is on the bridge thats gets in the way of extensions

I used my breaker bar and a tube from a keg tap that I slip on the end to extend it. One was easier, one was so stuck I was sliding along the pavement before it finally let go. Oh yeah, and make sure to spray the shit with wd-40. I think I sprayed them a day before I knew I was going to work on them. Unless you have an engine hoist, those bolts aren't the toughest part. I had a bitch of a time getting my nismo engine mounts in place because they are taller than the old saggy, original ones. I ended up removing the bracket on the engine block to get the right-hand side mount in place..
