S15 Maf

Searched but nothing came up.

I have an S15 MAF sitting in my hands right now and I am wondering whether anyone has used one before with their S14 SR engine?

The plug is different but has the same three wire setup. My engine is a later model S14 Kouki engine.

For Archiving purposes, I wired the S15 Maf into my S14 SR harness and the car would NOT start leading me to believe the MAF is not compatible. Even played with the SAFC settings and no go.

It is a very bad idea to blindly wire up a maf. You can easily fry your MAF, ECU, and even start a fire. Sounds like you got lucky though.

I didnt just go iny miny miney mo and hook the wires up and pray for the best. I am well aware of the potential hazard of improper wiring.
Using the S15 FSM I figured out which wire was which and connected them appropriately. Its just too bad it didnt work.
