My check engine light came on and when I checked it it gave me a code 41.I looked in my service manual and it doesn't have code 41 listed. Any else ever have this code, or know what it means??

If you have a DOHC (91-98), code 41 is the Intake Air Temp Sensor.
If you have the FSM, you can find out more info on this code on page EC-140.
I got this info from the faq at www.240sx.org--great site for reference. Good luck <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I couldn't find a code 41 in the faq for the SOHC ECU readings. Here's the list of codes 240sx.org has for the 89-90 SOHC:
11 Crank angle sensor circuit
12 Air flow meter circuit
13 Engine temperature sensor circuit
14 Vehicle speed sensor circuit
21 Ignition signal missing in primary coil
31 E.C.U. (E.C.C.S. control unit)
32* EGR function
33 Exhaust gas O2 sensor circuit
35* Exhaust gas temperature circuit
43 Throttle position sensor circuit
45* Injector leak
55 No malfunction
*California models only.

i believe, and i've said this before that code 41 is the 'everything is ok code' for SOHC's much like code 55 is the 'everything is ok code' for DOHC's.

nope, 55 code for all models means that everyhting is ok
I know this because I've checked my ECU on more than one occasion and have gotten 55, and went to sleep feeling much better knowing that everything is OK <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

I believe that is the head/coolant temperature circuit.

Hey,
I Have a 92 S13. How do I check the error code? Do you have a computer that plugs in somewhere and gives you this code? Thanks!

Go to 240sx.org or if you have a manual it wil ltell you. You just have to basically take out the pasenger side kick panel and then unscrew 2 screws and flip the ecu around. I'tll tell you what to do if you go to 240sx.org
