Yes i do have a few auctions up this month on Ebay for mirror covers. Since i started the carbon fabricating recently, i do not have dealers at this time but am working on it. In the meantime, i decided to get in on Drews 2nd GB for the URAS wheels and need to raise some quick cash for that. Hence this GB and those auctions. The Ebay auctions are only for July though because i will
have two new dealers by then. You are helping me with this GB so i can help Drew fullfill his GB. How does that sound? Here are some pics of the covers on my Silvia. I will have a booth at D1 in December to showcase my other carbon parts as well. Just need to lose these Rotas.

And this is the Twill version. Also, hybrid colors of 50/50 Kevlar/Carbon on a per customer basis add $40.00 (see available hybrid colors below).

Why aren't we seeing the mirror-side of the installed product. 800 pictures of the convex side of the cover.. looks the same on and off the car. I'd like to see the terminal end.

Mike sent a set of the 15oz. out to me. From what I have seen so far these are awsome. A way better alternative to paying $300-400 for new aero mirrors. I rarely stray off the Japan market, however a vacuum molded product will sell me everytime.
This product will be added to our website once they arrive!!

Just arrived late today and they are awsome.
2 layers of Carbon (looks like 8oz on inside and 15oz outside) about 1mm thick so you dont have to worry about the edges being super high and noticable. Also alows it to be a bit flexable so installing is easier. I agree with using a black adhesive to install these, because 3M tape would make it to thick and noticable.
Excellent work and craftsmanship!! They fit perfect!
Thank you Mike! You have a PM.
Peace

Now - I'm someone in the market for these. I'd rock them, however, to me, this pic:

and the words "Fit perfect" don't go together. Why is there a 1/4" edge around the cover, as opposed to running flush?

If you look at your mirror, you will see that the edge is not straight and it is slightly angled. You will have a 1/4 exposure at the edge because the mold must have a straight edge in order for the part to pull off of the concrete form, additionally i appollogize for those pics because they were the first or second pair out of that new mold. I over trimmed the edges a bit, but they come closer to the mirror edge than the one in that particular image. I had to get the trimming process down better (which i have now). FYI: new molds starting tomorrow for: carbon fiber fluid cap cover set for the SR20 (Oil, P.S., Brake), S14 rearview mirror cover, and spark plug cover for the SR20.

Yes they are gapped in that area but if you look at your stock mirror you can se the line that is used. Obviously Nissan did this for the same reason... to get it out of the mold. I don't mind the trim line because the material is so thin. Its not a high volume mass produced part, but your getting very close to the quality.
The only issue I had was the gel coat is a secondary application, but some people like that because it makes the carbon look deep.
Mike, put me down for a 15oz. Rear View Mirro Cover also!
Peace

Prices and ETA? I'd like to pickup the mirror caps, fluid cap set for SR, AND SR plug cover....
Any chance we can get a S13 coupe center pillar cover? i.e. the black piece between the side front and rear window.

Here is my car, The exposed area is only 3/16" of an inch. And if you really do not like that, a simple remedy is to paint your mirrors and then install these. FYI:
I will extend the GB until the 7th of August, as a few people have requested it.

That's what I did to my carbon covers long time ago....then again I didn't buy them from kognition design. It will look much cleaner w/ a black base.
