Just looked thru 51 pages of things that came up on Ebay when I searched "S14". There are a lot of cheap items on there and I am wondering what have people actually bought off there that they would recommend or discourage someone from buying. One example is all the control arms and rods... So if you have any input that would help me out and all the others that are thinking about buying something off ebay...

or dont buy motorcycles that are brand new for $3500 shipped. if you do make sure they dont live too far from you and give you an address and not a po box or anything

the only things I get off ebay are brand name parts but that are just cheaper on there than other sites. Personally I wouldn't buy no name things, though a lot of them are the same thing, I just feel safer sticking with a trusted name.
just me though

sometimes you get good deals and sometimes you get crap. its never a win win situation on ebay. plus you got bid happy people who bid over the retail value

I have nothing but good things to say about the s13 parts I have bought from ebay, but you have to do the research and dont get bid happy and pay too much. Good ebay sellers I have delt with jhot and jarco both sell jdm used parts with fast shipping and good communication.

I bought my shocks, bushings, trunk lock, and steering wheels off eBay. Never had one problem or complaint yet.
Take the time to read feedback, and remember that NO ONE sells brand new coilovers for 400 bucks.

if you're going to bid on ebay, you have to be sceptical of things, and know what to look for.
don't buy from sellers w/ 15 transactions and 50% good feedback.
power sellers are good to buy from. and used things (not coilovers) are always easy to come by....prices vary though.
jarco is a semi local shop to me (well....they're in atlanta) and they've done nothing but good things for the people i know, as well as myself.
